Good news in pakista tourism


Azad Kashmir to Skardu will be a new route through a 12.7 km long tunnel.

Pakistan's third alternative CPEC route which will reduce the distance of 350 km to China border. The federal government has released 45 million for the Gorikot Astur to Shagarthing Skardu road project through Azad Kashmir. This will be the new tourism corridor.' The new route, after crossing the border, will connect the districts of Yarkand China, GBK Shagar, Skardu and Astor to Muzaffarabad.

The National Highway Authority (NHA) is working on the construction of the Shaunter-Rato (12.7 km long) road tunnel. (Kel to Shunter) and (Shunter to Gorikot) roads are approximately 26.9 km and 41.5 km respectively.


These towns are Kiel, Lower Domel, Dhaki Naka, Khora, Chitta Kattha, Upper Domel and Chittian, Neelam in Azad Jammu and Kashmir's Shauntar and Astor GB's Morcha Guzeer, Mirmulk, Ratu, Naseerabad, Chogam, Rehmanpur and Guri.

Adjacent to the coat will pass. The project site is about 65 km from Astor. Route from Neelum Valley to Astor Valley.
